About Surrey Water Polo
Surrey Water Polo is one of Canada's leading water polo clubs, offering Learn to Swim and water polo programs for boys and girls of all ages and skill levels in Surrey, BC.
From essential swimming skills to high-performance water polo, our complete development pathway gives athletes opportunities to grow, compete at provincial and national levels, and pursue the pathway toward Team Canada.
With more than 400 athletes, our club has developed Provincial, Western and National Champions.
But we believe sport is about more than results.
We want athletes to enjoy every practice, every game and every step of the journey — building skills, confidence, friendships and a lifelong love of sport.

Powered by ISWIM Methodology
Build essential swimming skills, confidence, and water safety through the proven ISWIM Methodology. Swimmers progress through three levels as their skills develop.
Bronze
Beginner
Confidence & Foundations
Build confidence and independence in the water. Swimmers learn essential water safety, breathing, floating, body control, and the foundations of efficient swimming.
Silver
Intermediate
Technique & Independence
Develop stronger swimming technique, endurance, and confidence. Swimmers build on their fundamentals while learning more advanced skills and becoming more efficient and independent in the water.
Gold
Advanced
Mastery & Performance
Develop proficiency in all four competitive swimming strokes while building endurance, efficiency, and advanced swimming skills. Gold prepares swimmers for confident lifelong swimming and progression into competitive swimming or water polo.

Continue developing swimming skills while learning the fundamentals of water polo, including ball handling, passing, shooting, and basic game concepts.
Entry RequirementSwimmers must be able to swim comfortably and independently.

Entry RequirementPrevious developmental water polo experience is required, from Surrey Water Polo or another water polo club.

Our high-performance boys and girls teams compete at the highest provincial and national levels, preparing dedicated athletes for National Championships and the pathway toward Team Canada selection.
