The Edmonton National Championship League (NCL) weekend is officially in the books, and Surrey Water Polo Club walked away with results that reflect both performance and progress across the program.
With three teams competing, SWP showcased depth, resilience, and a commitment to development at every level.
Leading the charge, Surrey White delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament, finishing 2nd overall. The group demonstrated strong cohesion, competitive edge, and the ability to perform under pressure, earning a well-deserved spot on the podium.
Our Surrey Girls team battled hard all weekend, finishing 4th overall. Competing against top programs, the team showed significant growth, resilience, and the ability to rise to high-level competition.
As one of the younger and developing squads, Surrey Blue put together an impressive weekend, also finishing 4th. Their performance highlighted the strength of our development pathway, gaining valuable experience and continuing to close the gap against top-tier teams.
Across all three teams, the weekend was defined not just by results, but by growth, learning, and team culture—key pillars of the Surrey Water Polo program.
The journey continues as SWP heads to Western Finals in Calgary, April 17-19.
We encourage all families, supporters, and the wider community to tune in and cheer on our athletes as they take the next step in their competitive season.
