16U/18U Competitive Women's Program

The 16U/18U Competitive Women's Program is a positive, support and competitive environment for girls and women born from 2007-2012 looking to take their water polo career to the next level. Competitive Women's athletes practice 5 times a week, 4 times out of Guildford Recreation Centre (GRC) and once out of Surrey Sport and Leisure Complex (SSLC). This program focuses on ensuring athletes are prepared for competition and ready to compete in Water Polo Canada's National Championship League (NCL). Athletes are also prepared for the next steps which include Team BC, Team Canada, and NCAA which many of our former alumni and current athletes have been a part of.

This program not only competes in the National Championship League (16U and 18U), but also in Invitational Tournaments and International Training Camps. Throughout their practice schedule, athletes will go through in water and out of water training including swimming, skills, techniques, tactics, game tape, strength and conditioning and more!
