Summer Programming

Summer is just around the corner which means….registration for our Summer Programming is now open! Throughout the summer we will have a variety of water polo programs available and we hope to see you there!

Summer Referral Initiative - As you read through our summer programming, please consider sharing these opportunities with your friends and family. For each friend or family who registers in a trial or program with SWP this summer your name will be entered into the draw for the chance to win an exciting Water Polo Prize Basket! Referrals must be for athletes NOT currently enrolled in SWP programming for the 2022-2023 season.

The Water Polo Prize Basket will include:

In addition to our Summer Programming outlined below, SWP will also be offering FREE scrimmages for all our Competitive Athletes and Masters throughout the month of August! These scrimmages will take place on Wednesday nights from 7-8:30 PM at the Guildford Recreation Center.

- Surrey Water Polo Club

High Performance Summer Training

This summer SWP will offer competitive training for athletes in our High Performance / NCL program. This programming will train three times per week for June and July, then scale back to twice a week for August. This training is a great opportunity for our Team BC athletes, those competing at Junior Olympics, NCAA Alumni and Competitive Athletes looking to keep training throughout the summer.

This program offers single month registration to work around your summer and holiday schedules. We recommend this program for athletes between the ages of 13-20. Training will take place at Guildford Tuesday - Thursday from 6:30-9:00 PM. Training fees for June/July will be $150 (3 practices/week) and $100 for August (2 practices/week).

Intro & Development Summer Training

Keep your skills up this summer with the SWP Intro & Development training! This program is a great opportunity for current athletes to keep developing their swim and water polo skills, while also being the perfect place for new athletes looking to join the sport for the first time! We recommend this program to athletes between the ages of 9-14.

Training will take place at the Guildford Recreation Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 PM. To accommodate summer and holiday schedules, we are offering month-to-month registration for these programs. Registration fees for this program are $100/month.

Cloverdale Tritons 

Surrey Water Polo will again be partnering with the Cloverdale Tritons Swim Club this summer! Tritons has both water polo and swim programs available for athletes with a variety of experience levels. The water polo program with Cloverdale will be coached by SWP coaches and we encourage this program for our Intro and Developmental athletes (ages 9-14). In addition to weekly training, this program will include BCSSA water polo games and tournaments throughout the summer!

All Tritons water polo practices will take place at the Surrey Sport & Leisure Centre (SSLC). Practices will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7:15-8:45pm. The cost for the Tritons water polo program is $375 for the summer, or an additional $100 with any of the swim program registrations.
